  1. SHIPPING

MONPIEL ships its products to the address specified by each User during the purchase process.

The delivery conditions will apply according to the following territories:

 

- SPAIN AND PORTUGAL (Peninsular and Balearic Islands):

  • Shipping costs: FREE.
  • Delivery time: 48/72 hours

 

- SPAIN (Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla):

  • Shipping costs: FREE.
  • Delivery time: 4/7 business days

 

- EUROPE:

  • Shipping costs: FREE.
  • Delivery time: 5/10 business days

 

- OTHER COUNTRIES*:

  • Shipping costs: FREE.
  • Delivery time: 5/15 business days

 

* Countries not included in our shipping form list might be subject to particular restrictions. If you cannot find the shipping country in the form, please contact us via email at pedidos@monpiel.com, and we will review the shipping conditions and delivery time. In this case, shipments might be subject to an additional transport cost. All orders (except for customized products and products for sale in PRE-ORDER that may be prepared within a longer period) will be prepared within a maximum period of 24 to 48 hours from their receipt except during sales seasons or offers where preparation times may be modified.

The rates and terms mentioned are subject to possible modifications for specific promotions which will be communicated to Users through the appropriate channels.

Shipping times depend on external carriers to our company, so they are approximate and not guaranteed by Monpiel.

* Customs fees or other extraordinary fees may not be included in the sale price.

During promotional or sales periods such as, by way of illustration but not limited to, Christmas, Sales, or Black Friday, preparation and delivery times may be altered and, if applicable, increased, due to the volume of orders.

MONPIEL cannot control shipments once they have been handed over to the corresponding postal service, thus will not be responsible for any delay in delivery when the order had been prepared and delivered to it in time.

MONPIEL informs that products may be received by the User in different shipments.

If the carrier fails to deliver the order, they will contact the User to arrange a new delivery.

For any change in the delivery conditions of your package, you can manage it directly with the carriers through their platforms with the shipping number previously sent by email:

* Product prices may differ according to the geographic delivery area due to tax variations, commercial policy, tariffs, or other extraordinary expenses; the final price will be shown at checkout prior to payment confirmation once the shipping address has been validated.

 

  1. EXCHANGE POLICY

Exchanges can only be made for Mainland Spain, Balearic Islands, and Portugal.

In other Countries/Areas, as well as the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, and Portuguese Islands, product exchanges will not be applicable. The customer must return the product according to our policy and place a new order.

MONPIEL allows the exchange of an item for another within fourteen (14) business days from the date of receipt of the product. Except for purchases made during special periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, whose period will be extended until after Three Kings' Day (date determined by year).

The User must ensure that the product is in good condition. The product must be in perfect condition, unopened and with all its labels, packaging, documentation, and original accessory elements that came with it. It must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, with the original brand packaging without apparent signs of use and always presenting the invoice of the same that must be included in the return box.

The User must contact MONPIEL through our email pedidos@monpiel.com indicating their order number and the change they want to make. MONPIEL will inform the User of the steps to follow to make the desired exchange.

Once the exchange request is confirmed by MONPIEL, the shipment of the new product will be prepared so that the courier service will deliver it to you, and in turn, collect the one you have at home.

The Exchange Policy will not be applicable when it comes to products made according to the User's specifications or personalized, in accordance with the "Customization" section of the website.

Products belonging to the OUTLET selection can be exchanged following the procedure explained below in “How to make an exchange?”. In the case that the desired size or product is not available, a purchase voucher will be issued to be spent in the next six (6) months.

 

HOW TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

SPAIN AND PORTUGAL (Mainland and Balearic Islands)

Belts: all our belts have a very easy system to adjust the size, our Customer Service team will send you all the necessary information for this, however, if you wish to change it, we will be happy to help you. The belt size change service has a cost of €6.90.

 

Other Products: the first exchange in Mainland Spain and Portugal will be FREE* and managed by MONPIEL, except during sales periods, discounts and promotional codes, or OUTLET category products where exchanges will have a cost of €6.90.

 

You have 14 days from the receipt of the product.

 

REMEMBER:

1.- Package your product as you received it, with the original wrapping. The product must be in the same condition as you received it.

2.- Make sure to include your invoice in the order so that we can identify it in our warehouses.

* The first exchange in Mainland and Portugal is FREE, except for belts. The second has a cost of €15.

** During sales/offers periods, promotional codes, and OUTLET products, the first exchange will have a cost of €6.90 and the second €15. It must be paid by transfer.

3.- You must send us an email through pedidos@monpiel.com indicating: Order No., Article, Size / color you need. Once confirmed that we have stock of the product, we will proceed with its shipment with pickup at your home.

 

OTHER COUNTRIES

For other Countries/Zones (different from Mainland Spain and Balearic Islands and Portugal), at the moment we are not able to manage exchanges. In this case, you must make a return and a new purchase.

 

  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS.

The User has the right to withdraw from the order placed remotely without giving any reason, within a period of fourteen (14) business days from the receipt of the product. All this, without any penalty and without the need to indicate the reasons.

Except for purchases made during special periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, whose period will be extended until after Three Kings' Night (date determined according to the year).

The right of withdrawal applies to all products, except for products whose seals have been removed and those made according to the User's specifications or customized in the CUSTOMIZATION section of the Website, in accordance with the assumption established in article 103.c) of the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws. Products marked as outlet can only be returned in exchange for a voucher to be spent on our website.

The User must contact MONPIEL through our email pedidos@monpiel.com by identifying themselves with their personal data and indicating their order number and the product or products they wish to return as well as the reason for the return. It is then when MONPIEL will explain to the User the steps to follow to make the desired change.

 

HOW TO MAKE A WITHDRAWAL OR RETURN?

 

SPAIN AND PORTUGAL (Peninsular and Balearic Islands)

For orders from Spain and Portugal (Peninsular and Balearic Islands). You have two options: send the package on your own or let MONPIEL manage your pickup.

 

Returns managed by MONPIEL:

  • Return in the form of a voucher: FREE, we will send you a voucher for the full amount of your order. Except in the period of offers and/or sales, promotional codes, and outlet products, €6.90 will be deducted from the voucher for management and collection of your order.
  • Return in the form of a refund: will have a cost of €6.90 for the management and collection of your package which can be deducted from your refund or paid by bank transfer.

You will soon receive an email with the return labels to stick on the package. A courier will pick it up at the requested time.

 

Return with shipping managed and paid by the customer:

The customer takes care of processing, managing, and paying the shipping costs, a full refund of the products to be returned will be made.

1- Make sure you include your invoice in the order so we can identify it in our warehouses.

2- Fill out the return form, which you can find on the back of your invoice, indicating whether you want your money in the form of a voucher or a refund, in the case that Monpiel manages the return.

3- Carefully package your product as you received it so that it does not suffer damage during transport, the product must arrive in perfect condition at our warehouses.

4- We will send you your promotional voucher or make the refund of the money once we receive the product in our offices. We have a period of fourteen (14) business days from the receipt of the return, to check that the product arrives in good condition and proceed with the return method.

 

EUROPE (WITHIN THE EU)

For orders from Europe (within the EU), we offer you two options for the return:

Returns managed by MONPIEL:

They will have a cost of €15 which will be deducted from your refund.

You must send us an email informing us of the return, on our part, we will send you a shipping label that you must attach to your package. You must deliver your package at one of the Access Points that UPS makes available to you. You can check your nearest point at this link:

For the rest of the countries, you should know that the courier expenses for the return of the product due to withdrawal are borne by the customer. You must send us an email to pedidos@monpiel.com informing us of your return. Ensure that the courier company stamps your shipping receipt and don't forget to keep it until you receive your refund.

*** VERY IMPORTANT:

For returns outside the European Union, a copy of the invoice and a customs declaration must be included along with the return documentation, expressly stating that it is a return of goods. This will attempt to avoid duplication of tariff expenses and additional costs. It's very important to correctly fill out the customs declaration form.

It is essential to mark the “Returned Goods” box on this form.

 

1- Ensure you include your invoice in the order along with the Customs Declaration so we can identify it in our warehouses. Please send us an email to pedidos@monpiel.com beforehand, informing us of your return.

2- Package your product as you received it with care to avoid damage during transport, the product must arrive at our warehouses in perfect condition.

3- We will process your refund once we receive the product in our offices. We have a period of fourteen (14) business days from the receipt of the return to verify that the product arrives in good condition and to proceed with the refund.

4- In the event that customs charges or other extraordinary expenses are generated, these will be borne by the customer and will be deducted from their refund.

 

MONPIEL is not responsible for the transportation or courier company chosen by the User to carry out the return of the order. In this sense, MONPIEL recommends that the User demands a delivery receipt from the courier company once the courier has deposited the product at the MONPIEL offices, to have proof that the product has been correctly delivered. MONPIEL is not responsible for the address to which the consumer and User sends the order for its return if it is different from those indicated by MONPIEL, who may ask the User to send the said delivery receipt for the purposes of verifying the same.

Each returned product must be in perfect condition, unopened, and with all its labels, packaging, documentation, and original accessory elements that came with it, so that MONPIEL can determine that it is the original product purchased by the User and evaluate if it has been used correctly. If the User does not proceed in this way or if the product has suffered any damage, the User accepts that MONPIEL may reject the exercise of the right of withdrawal by him. Incorrect handling of the product may result in the denial of the return.

Once MONPIEL verifies that the order is in optimal condition, it will proceed to return the total amounts paid by the User, excluding the expenses incurred in the return of the product.

MONPIEL informs the Users that the maximum period for the return of the amounts paid (excluding return expenses or other extraordinary expenses that may have been incurred) will be fourteen (14) business days from the receipt of the product in our warehouses, through the same means of payment.

In the case of promotions applicable to the acquisition of independent products that include the addition of an additional product, by way of illustration but not limitation, promotions 2x1, 3x2, or any other that implies the delivery of an extra product for free or at a reduced price, if the User decides to apply their right of withdrawal to their purchase, such right will have effects on the set of products provided as part of the promotion.

 

  1. LEGAL WARRANTY.

Users can return, at no cost, any product purchased on the Website that does not comply with the agreed terms for a period of three years from the date the product was received. Considering the nature of the products purchased, the User will have a period of two (2) months from becoming aware of the lack of conformity of the product to communicate it by sending an email to pedidos@monpiel.com, indicating in said email the defective product or products, attaching photographs and other evidence demonstrating the defects or lack of conformity of the products, as well as a detailed list of the defects observed, the purchase order, and any other additional documentation that allows the purchase made by the User to be identified.

Upon receipt of the communication from the User, they will be informed as soon as possible whether the return of the product is appropriate or not, objectively considering the nature of the product and the alleged lack of conformity or defect. In case the return is appropriate, MONPIEL will indicate to the User how to send the defective product to its warehouses.

MONPIEL will not be responsible for products returned without the User following the process detailed above.

The products subject to return must be unused or, if the defect is observed after normal and everyday use, in the best possible condition, and must be returned together with all their labels, packaging, and - if applicable - original documentation and accessory elements that came with it. If the User does not proceed in this way, MONPIEL will evaluate each case individually.

According to the type of products sold by MONPIEL, their repair generally cannot be carried out because it would be disproportionate. In the event that, due to the characteristics of the specific product and the defect, its repair is possible, the User will be expressly informed of this circumstance, being given the possibility to choose between replacement or repair.

In the event that the product cannot be repaired and the replacement of the product is not in accordance with the contract, the User may choose to terminate the contract.

MONPIEL informs Users that the maximum period for the refund of amounts paid will be fourteen (14) working days from the moment the consumer and user decided to terminate the contract.

IMPORTANT:

Most products offered at MONPIEL are made of genuine leather. Leather is a completely natural material and therefore, susceptible to imperfections inherent to the product. In some cases, small marks, wrinkles, changes in tone and texture may be observed, which result from the natural tanning process of the leather.

Similarly, all leathers have been dyed using natural chrome-free processes. In some cases, depending on humidity conditions and contact materials, some color transfer from the leathers may occur. Therefore, we recommend special care when using our products in contact with light-colored garments, as they are more likely to be stained.

If any type of cologne, hydroalcoholic gel, and/or any chemical product is used, all leathers will also lose their original color.

MONPIEL will not be responsible, in any of these cases, for color loss caused by improper handling of the products, nor for stains caused by color transfer to other materials or garments.
