We know that finding your perfect size on the first try can be tricky. We understand how important it is to achieve the perfect fit when purchasing high-quality leather products, which is why we created this guide to make your shopping experience easier.

Don’t worry if you don’t get your size right the first time. The first exchange (within mainland Spain and Portugal) is completely free. Simply send us an email at [email protected], indicating your order number and the exchange you’d like to make. We’ll send a replacement and arrange for pickup at the same shipping address.

Belt Size Guide

Here’s the quickest, easiest, and simplest way to determine your belt size. All you need to know is your usual pants size.

Below you’ll find the equivalency chart showing the belt’s length in centimeters and the corresponding pants size.

 

Tip:

If you’re unsure between two sizes, we recommend going with the larger one. This way, if it’s slightly long, you can easily adjust it at home or with the help of a cobbler.

How can I measure my belt?

It’s very simple: just grab a tape measure and measure the distance from the tip of the buckle to the middle hole. That way, you’ll get the exact measurement and the belt size you need.

If the belt is too large, we always recommend trimming it rather than adding additional holes. This way, you’ll have a belt that fits perfectly to your size.

Steps:

  1. Locate the screw under the buckle and remove it.
  2. Separate the buckle from the leather strap.
  3. Cut the leather strap to your perfect size using a regular pair of scissors. You can use your usual belt measurement as a guide.
  4. Make a hole in the same spot where the previous one was (at this point, you’ll need a hole punch tool or assistance from a cobbler).
  5. Reattach the buckle to the leather strap by tightening the same screw you removed earlier.

By following these steps, your belt will be adjusted to the perfect size without needing additional holes.

Shoe Size Guide

When it comes to Monpiel’s shoe sizing, we always recommend sticking to your usual size.

It’s true that every shoe last is unique… Comfort and fit depend on both the last and your foot shape. On each shoe’s product page, you’ll find a small recommendation about how each of our models fits.

Shoe lasts:

  • Standard Size.
  • Small Size.
  • Large Size.
